T-Mobile is offering a new incentive for Google Pixel users. Activate a phone line using a Google Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL, and T-Mobile will give up to $325 instant cash back.
Verizon is the exclusive carrier for Google Pixel devices, but the phones themselves can be used on other networks. The Google Pixel 2 is available for purchase online for $649, or for $27.04 per month on a 24-month Google Store Financing contract.
T-Mobile is looking to lure customers away from Verizon by offering a rebate for half the cost of the phone. The rebate is available on a prepaid MasterCard, and can be used anywhere MasterCard is accepted. Existing Verizon customers who bought their Pixel phones through Verizon (not Google) can still take advantage of the T-Mobile offer.
You must be the original owner of the phone in order to receive the rebate. So you cannot buy the phone from eBay, Craigslist, or another third party site. Proof of purchase is required. New customers can transfer their phone numbers from another carrier, or existing customers may add a line on a “qualifying rate plan.”
T-Mobile says, “We have not announced an end date, but it will be a limited time offer.” Interested customers can take advantage of this offer at T-Mobile locations, online, or by phone.
