Lenovo has decided to add to its smartphone portfolio with the development of the new Vibe Z2 Pro. The phone is aimed to provide solid performance at a low price.
The Vibe Z2 Pro features a 6- inch screen with 2,000 resolution, as well as a 16MP rear camera with image stabilization. The phone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, and is just 7.7 mm thick.
It seems the Chinese electronics firm focused a lot of its efforts on developing a good phone for taking photos. The camera is capable of taking wide range shots at full resolution. The camera features a six element lens which makes it great for taking low light photos.
The stats for the phone are pretty impressive, but Lenovo phones have not done that well in the United States, where big names like Apple and Samsung still reign supreme. While Lenovo is a trusted source of computers for colleges, it has not made a name for itself here in the smartphone world. Perhaps this phone will give the technology company a slightly larger piece of the pie.
