Acer is known for making affordable laptops and desktop computers, but the company is now introducing an entirely new line of products. Acer recently announced the development of five new smartphones: Liquid E600, Liquid E700, Liquid X1, Liquid Z200, and Liquid Jade.
Liquid Jade is said to feature a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera, as well as 1080p video recording. The phone will have 8 gigabytes of internal memory and will support an additional SD card with up to 32 gigabytes of storage.
In addition to these new phone models, the company is coming out with a new smartband called the Liquid Leap and a new tablet called the Iconia Tab 8. Liquid Leap is Acer’s smallest touchscreen device with a one-inch display, and is the first wearable product for the company. It will be released in a variety of colors, including Aquamarine, Fragrant Pink, Mineral Black, Moonstone White and Vivid Orange.
These products are scheduled to be introduced sometime in the third quarter, but there are no specific details about their release dates or prices. Most of the products are built with a form of Gorilla Glass, which is incredibly durable and difficult to break. The products are made to be both affordable and innovative, staying true to the Acer brand.
